The draw for the 2013 Masters has been confirmed, with reigning champion Neil Robertson opening up against Chinese ace Ding Junhui at Alexandra Palace.
Snooker's most prestigious invitational tournaments heads back to its new home - the Ally Pally - on January 13 and will feature 16 of the world's top stars battling it out for the title and the £175,000 top prize.
The tournament will open up with a mouth-watering tie as Neil Robertson begins the defence of his crown against China's number one - Ding Junhui - in an unmissable overseas battle.
Last year's finalist Shaun Murphy kicks off his campaign against Wuxi Classic winner Ricky Walden, one of a number of debutants, including Barry Hawkins and Mark Davis.
Hawkins faces a tough opener against newly turned world number one Judd Trump, meanwhile two-time champion John Higgins takes on world finalist Ali Carter in another gripping first round tie.
Mark Williams has also tasted success in this event twice before, and will face fellow Welshman Matthew Stevens in round one, with Stephen Maguire and Pocket Dynamo - Graeme Dott making up an all-Scottish fixture.
Mark Selby hosts in-form Stuart Bingham in the final match of the opening round, with left-handed ace Mark Allen up against the resurgent Mark Davis, a player who will be counting his lucky stars after receiving an invitation despite being ranked one place outside the top 16.
Ronnie O'Sullivan will not feature following his withdrawal from all remaining events in the 2012/13 season, while Stephen Lee also sits out as a result of his suspension from major competition pending an investigation.
, the world's largest internet betting exchange, have been announced as the new sponsors of the event as they continue their strong affiliation with snooker, adding to their current title sponsorship of the Shoot-Out, German Masters and the European Tour.
The tournament runs from January 13-20, 2013 at Alexandra Palace in London and is expected to reach a global audience of 181 million.
