Ronnie O'Sullivan plays Marco Fu in the Welsh Open today.
The 2012 Welsh Open continues on Thursday, with the likes of Ronnie O'Sullivan, John Higgins and Shaun Murphy all in action in Newport.
Stephen Hendry rolled back the years to beat Neil Robertson 4-1 in the Welsh Open on Tuesday afternoon and the Scot will now play either Mark Allen and Ken Doherty, one of the matches taking place on Wednesday.
The two players are first up at Newport, along with the match involving Ronnie O’Sullivan and Marco Fu, where the Rocket will be looking to set up a last 16 showdown with Mark Williams after the Welshman clinched a narrow 4-3 win over Andy Hicks yesterday.
Meanwhile, Steve Davis is also in action today, fresh from beating Ali Carter 4-3. The Nugget will face Shaun Murphy for a quarter final spot and it would be great to see Davis playing Hendry in the last eight, although the Magician starts the game as strong favourite.
The evening session sees the start of the Last 16 matches as John Higgins takes on Ding Junhui and Shaun Murphy plays legend Steve Davis in two potential thrillers.
This is the best day of the 2012 Welsh Open so far and all the action is being live streamed at the Bet365 website.
